As a Cloud or Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, Plex Online does not have user licenses. We charge a monthly subscription fee which includes access forall employees. Our experience has shown that the more people you have working with the system, the better the internal communication within your company and with your Customers and suppliers. We determined years ago that when using our competitor products (which charge by the number of users on the system), companies tend to minimize on the number of licenses to save money, which compromises the quality, integrity and timeliness of the data. So, we changed our business model and initiated a monthly subscription fee. You can also grant access to suppliers and Customers and yet limit them to only the information which is relevant to them. Our monthly subscription fee includes all data back-ups, security, maintenanceand upgrades. We are typically considered an operating expense rather than a capital expense becausewe host all the hardware. Plex Online scales easily and globally with your business immediately as it grows becauseall you have to do is hand out passwords. The beauty of our real-time, secure on-demand system with all-employee access is that there is now onlyone version of the truth.

1. Lean manufacturing and quality principles and practices are built directly into our system. The 5-S principles--a place for everything, and everything has its place--are built directly into our software. Our unique control panel, used by every operator, creates a 5-s environment. Other systems rely on operators tovoluntarily follow written procedures. Plex Online won’t let an operator make product unless he has completed every item in the onscreen checklist.The requirement for operators to follow specific procedures can be made mandatory. We have attached a quick summary of our quality features and a photo of our control panel.

2. Plex Online has a unique serialized barcoding system that barcodes every step of the manufacturing process from receipt of raw materials through the shipment of a product to a specific customer. This allows extraordinarily precise cradle-to-grave traceability and helps mistake-proof the entire manufacturing process. Most of our clients easily hit 99-100 percent shipping accuracy, reduce inventory by 15% or more, and many have decreased personnel in accounting and shipping because of Plex Online’s total system integration and precision. No more re-entry work required!

3. EDI is part of our system—there is no need for a separate system with additional costs, and Plex Online easily handles some of the more complex Domestic and foreign company EDI requirements.

4. Faster, easier implementations because you don’t have to order, configure and maintain hardware and in the future you will never have to update your system to a higher version of the software (see #8 below).
